Russell Peters Notorious World Tour Live in Malaysia 2012
As you would have known, the world most celebrated comedian is coming to town. Initially he wasn't going to perform in KL as he didn't get approval. It's a bummer because he would be performing in Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta. How did he missed out Malaysia, definitely not on purpose. Still not deterrent by the bad news, some KLites bought tickets for the Singapore leg and it was indeed selling very fast. Anyway, later in early April, he tweeted that he is indeed coming to KL. Those guys who bought the Singapore tickets probably shat in their pants and cursing like mad as the Malaysian show tickets are 1/2 the price they paid.
When I saw that tweet i was ecstatic. I figure that whoever the autorities who approve his permit to perform here might have not seen his show and it's rare that a comedian this big here. Being the "filthy downloader" I am ( don't blame be, you can't exactly find his DVDs in our local video stores), I knew that this is probably the only chance to see him perform live. I do hope he will make fun of us, our racial composition, how we speak English, the list is endless. And i can't wait for him to use Malaysia as part of his materials when he perform at other country. He did that during his last tour, the Green Card Tour It would be fun It's interesting to observed how Malaysia will take his jokes the 18 April came

PM announces half-month bonus for civil servants - Nation | The Star Online
Good news for government servants. Well, sounds too good to be true but it's true that PM has announced a half-month bonus, with a minimum of RM500, for civil servants. Pensioners are not left out too as they will too receive a special payment of RM500. These payment would be made on August 9, 2 weeks before August Government Servant payday. Looks like Raya come early this year.
